Its okApp takes a bit to respond and rotate, also caused my tablet to crash for the first time. Galaxy tab 7.7 An option to automatically download the newest 5 videos would be nice

Audio plays during call...When listening to the audio recordings, it will pause while the phone is ringing, but once you answer the call the audio comes back on and plays over the call. Haven't tested it with the video yet to see if it does the same. Phone: GS2

Really great app with some subtle flawsFirst off, lack of landscape support is a big no-no. That needs to be fixed. The filter buttons on the main screen are a little awkward and feel too much like iOS. It also puts the content too far down on the screen. Consider moving this bar to the bottom or replacing it with something else entirely. On the detail view, swiping should be for within tabs, not moving between detail views. If you want to move between detail views, a bezel swipe would probably be better (see Chrome for Android). Also, the ScrollView on this page should be within the tabs, not around the whole page. It's really weird when I'm scrolled all the way down on the About tab and I switch to the Watch Next tab the whole page jumps. For your ActionBar consider using a library like ActionBarSherlock (4.0 was just released and it's wonderful) or fall back to the native implementation when on 3.0 or higher. There are small issues with your current implementation like the fact that I can't long press on an ActionItem to see its label. Other than that, great job! It fits in very well with the Android design guidelines and works great!

An incredible app.It may have taken a while to launch, but it's easy to see they put that time to good use. A great looking, highly functional app. I prefer it over the iOS one. Good on you TED.

Kudos to the developersThis is a great app. Videos play smoothly over wifi and the app has already received multiple updates. After so many failed TED apps from outside parties the official app hits the nail on the head.

Search doesn't work for all talksFor some reason, the search function doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus. It doesn't seem to pull in all of the ted talks. It will auto fill the search properly, but will not find the actual topic. Otherwise, a fantastic app

Great content.When I first started watching these on my phone, Ted didn't have an official app. The other ones don't work with ics. This one takes up less space, too. Kind of a no brainer.

Zum Gl1/4ck entdeckt!Habe mich schon etwas lnger damit rumgeschlagen, die TED Talks im Browser auf dem Tablet zu schauen. Das ging ja leider nicht immer, da Flash manchmal rum gezickt hat. Mit der App hier ist das aber Geschichte! Alle Talks durchstbern und bei belieben auch sortieren oder suchen - kein Problem. Videos werden innerhalb der App angezeigt - das Design erinnert dabei stark an die YouTube App (oder es liegt am Design von ICS). Dazu kann man noch ein Lesezeichen hinzuf1/4gen und auch die Videos zum Offline schauen runterladen - alles kostenlos! Bin richtig begeistert hier von - verwunderlich, dass die App noch kaum jemand bewertet hat ;) (Benutze ein HP Touchpad mit aktueller CM9 ICS nightly)

A few annoyancesThis is a great app, but it has one fatal bug for me on droid4. If I even bump the keyboard out a tiny bit, the TED videos restart from the beginning. I usually slide the keyboard out on other apps to lock the aspect ratio. Also, this TED player adds an unnecessary intro on every video. Would be nice to have an option to disable that. It would be nice if this app marked which videos I have seen so I could open it up and only see unwatched talks listed.
