Element Animoto

Objective: To review and apply concepts concerning elements in a multimedia format

Materials: Animoto educators account ( www. animoto.com)- educators and their students can receive a free 6 month account.

Time frame: 2 class periods

Students must make an animoto ( or slide show) which includes the information listed below . The information may be in text form or in the form of photos or video clips.

Description of the elements properties ( at least 5 physical properties and 2 chemical properties)
Common uses

The animoto must be at least 90 seconds in length. ( I do not allow rap music as a music selection because 1) I can't understand all the words, and 2) when they have to choose other types of music, it is much more intresting
