Small groups Students will be in groups of 4 with a teacher. Teacher will make arrangements ahead of time for interviews. Each student will ask one of the four questions. Students will carry a note pad and pencil. Also students will ask friends these same questions andtake their picture. Questions: 1. What do you want to be when you grow up? 2. What is/was your favorite time at school? 3. What is your favorite song today? 4. What do you like to do at home? Students will take pictures and write (pretend writing) what the adult said. Teacher will write a quick note of what was said. Pictures are downloaded into the computer, Students view and remember what was said. Teacher/adult takes dictation, student and picture with question. Students share and talk about their picture.
Students assist teacher of how to publish their class news with pictures and captions. It may be a poster with pictures and captions, a cut and paste on the computer to make copies to hand out. A news book for each students’ work published.
Page will include: Story by: students name Picture taken by: students name
student will expand on social skills, interaction with adults. Reflect on past to present, hands on with use of camera. |
