Concept / Topic To Teach: Direct, edit, and produce student projects
Standards Addressed: Technology Integration
Specific Objectives: •The student will organize his or her own project. •The student will film his or her own project. •The student will upload and edit his or her own project. •The student will produce his or her own project. •Student projects will be displayed in the library media center, on the website, at faculty and student assemblies.
Step-By-Step Procedures: 1. Students will produce storyboards for their desired project. Students’ topics may include field trips, claymation, school plays, academic topics (history, literature, science, etc.), or other approved topics.
2. Students will use the library media center’s Flip Cameras to film their desired project.
3. Students will use the library media center’s computers with Tool Factory Movie Maker (if awarded) to upload, edit, and produce their projects.
4. Students’ projects will be streamed on the website, and played in the library media center, and shown at faculty and student assemblies. |
