Students will use the flip video to create short vignettes of our class morning routines to teach next year's class how to conduct morning procedures. As current students create vinettes, this solidifies their knowledge of procedures and directions. It also provides an avenue to create self confidence and presence in front of others. It also helps to provide an avenue for students to plan and evaluate important parts vs interesting vs not important information for students coming into second grade. It provides the opportunity for students to start to see their growth and pass along advise to incoming second graders. This also allows students to work collaboratively on their vignettes.

Students will also "simulate" skits of social problems that second graders face with classmates. These skits (taped using the flip video) will be used to show students to help brainstorm solutions to social/interpersonal issues. Students will brainstorm ideas that they face on a daily basis, and work with the school social worker to write the skits and perform them with possible positive and negative solutions. These videos can be used
in the school setting to provide students alternative problem solving solutions and help promote conflict resolution.
