Title: Middle School Musical Fair Tales/Grade Level can be adusted
4th Quarter Final Project

Divide the class into groups of 4 -5 students. This number supports most fairy tales character base ie: Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, Three Little Pigs etc.

The students will work to develop an original script based on the group's chosen fairy tale. Each group will need to submit an original script develping characters for the team members.

Each Presentation will include an original song performed by 1 or more of the characters.
The students groups must create props and costumes for the characters.

The scenery could be created by the primary level students: large trees with student handprints for leaves, Sun, birds, butterflies, flowers can be created by multiple grades to support the fairy tale theme.

The culminating event is the presentation of the fairy tales to the primary level students.
The MS students will be graded on a rubric with participation and cooperation being part of the grading scale too.

Home and Careers classes could provide the refreshments for a light reception.
