The goal of LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION! is to motivate and enthusiastically engage students. Lessons will be 100% student centered. Flip video cameras will stimulate interest in lessons by allowing children to create their own representation of the standards addressed. Students will research, create, produce, and teach their lesson based on material being covered in class. Children can produce plays incorporating reading skills or social studies themes. They will combine videos with other technology already in use as: SMART technoglogy, Movie Maker, and Power-Point. Interactive lessons will engage students, motivating them to focus on key standards in the curriculum. Flip videos can be saved and shared around classes. Video cameras are portable, fun, and easy to use! |
