Third, fourth, and fifth grade students will use digital and video cameras to document events, field trips, and daily classroom activities throughout the school year. Students will be shown how to use the technology by classroom teachers. Students will then, in turn, teach their peers how to operate and use the equipment. This will allow all students to have the exposure and the opportunity to use and apply the technology. Students will upload photos and videos into classroom computers using appropriate video and digital editing software. Photos and videos will be selected by the students for the students to create an end-of-the-year video yearbook to be distributed to students in grades 3,4, and 5.
