Techno Saavy Learning all Around

This project will allow my students with disabilities to LOVE learning! By giving them access to great technology, my students will learn necessary daily living skills and academic skills, such as counting, number recognition, writing, sentences, letter recognition, ABC order, reading, money,and many numerous other skills that are necessary for functioning in the 21st century life as well everyday in their community. My students struggle to learn academics, social skills, and daily living skills, but through the use of Ipads learning is like a game. Students "play games" but are learning at the same time. My goal is to have these Ipads in a station while working in small group literacy and math stations allowing the students to learn sight words, alphabet, numbers, counting, planets, etc.. depending on their individual needs. The possibilities are endless with the various applications out there!!
