Introduction into Graphic Design & Photography 5th Grade Edition

Prerequisite Skills: Basic computer knowledge; How to operate digital media (ex. digital cameras).

Overview & Purpose: Students will create a visual photography book-using picture taking with a digital camera. Also, students will complete an online quiz and photography lesson using portaportal.com.

Education Standards: Learn how to use a variety of tools in a safe and orderly manner. Make connection between art, other disciplines and career choices .

Objectives:
Students will create a photo book using pictures taking with a digital camera.
Students will take note on the terms related to the lesson.
Students will create art using digital media.

Students will define and complete a drawing of each term related to digital media.
Students will take an online quiz using edmodo to see if they can identify photography examples and art terms. Students will complete and online digital comic strip usinf langage art skill and sequenceing.
