Prior to the field trip, students will research pollution of our beaches and identify things to look out for. Students will take part in the Coastal Clean Up along California's coast. During this time they will record findings about the amount of pollution that washes upon our shores and how it affects us. Taking pictures, videos, and notes, students will have a pool of digital power to create their film.
Upon returning to school students will storyboard, write, shoot, and edit their film. The theme of their films will be how we can stop pollution and why we should care.
Student films will be shown to advisory classes, eliciting discussions on our role within this cycle. |
