Planned By: John Morlan
Original Author: John Morlan, Holly
Students will be introduced to the different beginners elements of photography.
View, Rule of 1/3's, angles, depth of field, head shots

After learning about these beginner elements, students will use their cameras in a game situation.
Much like a scavenger hunt, but a bingo-type game instead.

Students will move from still subjects to moving subjects as the yearbook/newspaper staff needs to incorporate both to be successful in photography.
Cross-Curriculum Ideas
Tie in the idea of how photography becomes history.
Follow-Up
Continue taking lots of pictures, use an editing program to enhance photos and choose the best photos for the newspaper and yearbook.
Materials: Yearbook
Other Items: 12 Digital Camers
