ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY and SUPPORT SERVICES
We are a dynamic team of students and educators who understand that technology enhances instruction and makes a significant impact with students. Enabling technologies such as the iPad, when used with software and online applications, allow students access to mainstream classrooms and activities. For students in need of Support Services, technology provides a tool to communicate, create, and work collaboratively. Help us promote "digital equity so that our students have both enabling technologies and access to the same learning opportunities as their peers" (Gwen Solomon, 2002). My students flourish with the use of technology and deserve an opportunity to be part of a 21st century learning environment.
