I am launching a fundraiser for a digital camera to use in the classroom. The camera will be used to take pictures of students work and classroom projects throughout the school year. The camera will also become a link to display pictures of students' as they are working/learning on our classroom website page and during upcoming events such as open house, young author's night and classroom projects in the making.

Why I Teach: At a very young age, I have always wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of children.Growing up in the city of Boston, schools were culturally diverse, however, resources for education including funding for better opportunities were hard to come by. As an educator today, I teach so I can give children the opportunities they deserve and help them learn with many resources that in some districts are so hard to come by. Each student deserves a chance for opportunities and rewards to help them reach the goals they need. I became an educator to help them reach that goal.
