My second grade bilingual students are in serious need of Ipads .Aside from learning the language they seem to challenge themselves & think constructively while working in pairs to complete a task on the Ipad.They can also complete their online test required from the curriculum of math and reading. The lap tops are too expensive and I don't wish to request this from the school budget because their funds can be used for consumable workbooks.I do have two ipads and I have the students take turns using them but it really gets difficult trying to schedule who gets a turn when there are 32 students.We will greatly appreciate if any funds or Ipads be donated to my class. Thank you in advance.

Why I Teach: I have known at a young age, while working summer jobs at day care centers, that teaching was a gift someone must do well.During my first year of college while working at a juvenile shelter for runaway children I realized that I had this gift to nuture and teach children. I love embracing the students willingness to learn. I enjoy guiding them to use the skills and strategies for life.
