A digital portfolio is a sampling of the breadth and depth of students' work conveying abilities, attitudes, experiences, and achievements through text, visuals, audio, and video formats.
The reflective process of portfolio development can be as important as the final product. As students develop portfolio websites, they upload artifacts that illustrate their understanding of a subject. Although this works well for projects that are completed online, projects that are not online, take more time to add to these portfolios. A digital camera and a subscription to Camtasia Digital Editing Studio would greatly benefit the implementation of this project. Students would be able to create and edit videos of work that has been completed in the classroom which would then be added to their portfolios.
