Education and the world around us are heavily influenced by technology. More and more curriculum and tasks are becoming technology based. Our class is asking for iPads to help support our learning in many ways. My goal for the upcoming school year is to provide students with much needed hands-on and research based learning. Assignments will be centered on the idea of discovery, students will be provided task that require researching and inquiring on the topics at hand. This information will help to support our writing, reading and most of all our continually growing minds! iPads will also be used within our daily learning centers, for purposes of iStation (reading) and iReady (math). These are data proven online programs, with the proper usage times students have been able to make upwards of 2 years growth within a single school year. iPads will greatly impact student learning!Help me support our future community learners learning!

Why I Teach: Teaching and inspiring has always been a lifelong dream of mind. The look on a students face when they have learned something new or finally understand the information, is priceless. I feel that I am not only helping them learn but they are also teaching me something new daily.
