We are always looking for ways to motivate our students to read. Years ago, using audiobooks was viewed as "cheating". Today with the focus on multiple intelligences and learning styles we know that may students can benefit greatly from the use of audiobooks as they follow along in the traditional text. Emerging or struggling readers would finally have the self-directed support to improve their reading skills.Access to school iPods would make their goal of reading at grade level possible.
