I am the principal of a school for K-12 students who have a special education eligibility of emotional disability. Our students have limited access to technology, but many have a gift in that area. As a school principal, I would love to give my teachers the opportunity to check out a classroom set of chromebooks on an as needed basis. My teachers are passionate about their students and want to give them the same opportunities as students in the general education setting. A classroom set of chromebooks would afford our teachers the opportunities to complete the following:
***complete RTI assessments in a timely manner
***teach students how to create powerpoints
***teach students how to create digital presentations using Powtoons, Imovie/Movavi, etc.
***provide access to reinforcing computer activities to supplement core class subjects
