This year I am helping to launch a project-based learning module in 6th grade Language Arts classroom. Not only will students be able to guide their own learning, they will also be using technology to aid in their project development. They will learn literacy skills embedded in the process of completing projects and service-learning projects. My goal is to prepare students for life in the 21st century by utilizing technology and fostering inquiry.

While we have a computer lab, it is difficult to share it with so many other classrooms. Access to a few Chromebooks in class will greatly increase my student's chance at using technology during class time.
