These leased ipads will be used by clinical staff at each school with students that will benefit from apps teaching mediation and mindfulness skills, stress management, reducing anxiety, and other relaxation techniques available through apps such as www.calm.com

The anticipated use will be to offer ipad to student while they wait to see their clinical support staff.

We hope to lease 9-12 units for use at each school in district.

This need is based on an increased number of students seeking support due to anxiety, depression, non-suicidal self-injury, substance use disorders and general disregulation. The ipads will be monitored by school clinical staff trained as Youth mental health first aid instructors. This proposed support addresses the element of teaching students to access self-help supports that are evidence-based and accessible.
