We will use the funds to purchase Lego Mindstorms kits and create a First Lego robotics team. Offering students the opportunity to build and program a robot teaches not only teaches critical thinking skills, but also teaches students the value of working as a team. By showing students they are capable of creating things they never dreamed possible, we will light a fire for technology that will open the door for scholarships and, potentially, encourage the creation of the next great inventions.
