In order to keep pace with the technology being introduced into the classrooms, it is essential to bring Internet access to parts of the community where it is needed. As part of an effort to bridge the so-called digital divide, the gap between rich and poor when it comes to access to technology, I would like to acquire five 4G LTE broadband mobile hot spot modems and paid service contracts through Mobile Beacon to use for student check out at our school. This would allow students who do not have access to internet to "check out" a hot spot that could be taken home with them so that they can access needed online materials for classes and allow for them to continue at home the critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration they experience in school.
