Kids are almost always connected to technology and the internet in some form today. We want to assure kids have the skills and knowledge to use technology productively and safely.

This fundraiser is to purchase laptop computers so Young Philosophers Society can provide computer skills, media and internet safety classes to children and parents. YPS will use the computers to teach classes to special needs students at Lotus Learning & Arts Center, as well as teach classes in the after-school programs at Young Philosophers Society. YPS will also offer parent training classes for internet safety.

$3,500 will purchase 8 Dell laptops, plus cover transaction and shipping fees.
