Our English learner program is raising money for chromebooks and a charging cart for our students. Our students are passionate about learning to use technology to benefit their lives. We want to incorporate Google programs into our lessons. For example, students can collaborate on projects using Google docs, sheets, and slides. Also, students can gain confidence in speaking by practicing on the computer using microphones and headphones. Computers will also help students to develop their research skills, as well as provide them a variety of opportunities to publish their writing. We hope that increasing our students' computer literacy skills will open doors for them throughout their lives.
