We are living in a technological world. I think it is critical to have this access to technology in every child's hands. With a laptop for every student, my class could access the wide world of information at every turn. From intervention to enrichment to regular lessons, students could use the computers to research and problem solve and work at their own level whenever needed. There are virtual field trips, math manipulatives, science experiments, etc. all available with the right technology. One other advantage is saving crucial resources. With digital textbooks, online white boards, and even digital work submission, we can cut down on the paper we consume each day. Having a computer for each child can do so much!!
