My goal is to raise enough funds to add ten more iMac desktops to my Media Arts classroom, and further enhance the film program at our middle school.
Kids are immersed in media today, and hungry for opportunities to create with it. Media Arts in public school creates opportunities for self-expression, writing, group collaboration, acting, singing, dancing, public-speaking, as well as developing technology skills. Media is never going away, and will only become more and more pervasive in our society. Therefore, we teach "Media Arts."
