My classroom is designed to meet the learning needs for students on the autism spectrum. My students fall all over the autism spectrum. My students are in 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade. My team includes a two other classes for Pre-K to K & K-2nd grade.

Each student is amazing!
Some of our students are non-verbal, some use communication devices, and other spend half their day in the general education classroom. Our students are very diverse from a variety of cultures, countries, and languages are represented in our classrooms.

Our school is a Title 1 school, meaning majority of our students are free or reduced lunch. My family give our classroom what they can but their resources are stretched.

My students need interactive and adapted material to access their curriculum. My students struggle expressing their knowledge and grasp writing materials. These donations will help my students communicate and develop their writing skills.

These materials will help them talk!
Many of my students are non-verbal and need interactive communication images to express their knowledge. Our classroom needs velcro and laminating sheets to create these essential communication materials. Coil bindings will help our team develop communication books and adapted books!

The larger crayons and pencils will help my students be able to grasp onto their writing utensils. This will help them develop their writing skills. My students' writing goals vary from writing their names to paragraph writing.

The dividers will help my students organize their student data binders. Each student has a portfolio to show off their learning goals throughout the year. Parents and students love seeing them at conference!
