We have found an amazing tool for our struggling readers. A C-Pen allows students who struggle with reading independently, access classroom information on their own. This amazing technology will scan text and then read it out loud to our students. We had some students give it a shot in a 30 day trial and it almost brought one of them to tears. They said that this tool allows them, for the first time, to keep up with their peers. They are $300 a pen and we feel that we could provide this resource to all our students if we had 4 of them.
