We have started an exciting and innovative multimedia program at Slauson Middle School, focussed on 21st Century learning. We have the talent to create something really big, but not the equipment. Our 6 PC's are 10 years old and crash almost every time students work on editing video. I love teaching media classes but I'm worried that we won't be able to keep it going without upgrading our equipment. When I started this program, it was made clear to me that there was no money for it. I am determined to make this work.
Twelve iMacs would completely energize our program. Ideally, twenty would be great, but 12 seems more do-able.
