With the use of an iPad, my students will be able to read and do math hands-on. They will get to experience things I did not get to experience as a child. When I get to see a look of awe on a child's face because they were able to read a new book with the touch of a screen, it will all be well worth it. In addition to the eBooks, my students will be able to use apps that will help them with their phonics, vocabulary, fluency and math concepts. WOW!

This project is important to me because technology is such a HUGE part of our future and I believe that if I can catch the readers young to make it fun for them, they will take that with them for the rest of their lives.
