As a secondary English teacher I see my students in desperate need of regular classroom access to technology in order to motivate and engage in daily learning. With laptop computers and a smart board, students will be able to interact locally and globally on a regular basis providing opportunities to perform at levels easily attributed to affluent students. My students consistently demonstrate an eagerness to learn and understand the history of their community, state, nation, and world, and the ways they may influence the future.
