The tablet is great for differentiating instruction and keeping students engaged. Not only am I able to explain lessons visually, but I can literally show students examples with these tablets. I will spend less time lecturing, which will give my students more time to be actively engaged in their learning experience. The tablet could be used daily, mostly with individual students and small groups. I can use apps that compliment our units of study. Some students might need practice or reinforcement of a particular math skill, while another student needs enrichment activities with that concept.

For many of my students, during my class is the only place where they can access such technology. It opens up a whole new world for my students. Allowing them to access different technologies in the classroom gives them skills they will take out in the real world.
