I am hoping to create an animation station using iPads with the mycreate app. The best way to show understanding of a concept is to teach others about it. Using technology, the preferred medium of middle schoolers, my 6th grade students will be able to demonstrate their mastery of science topics by turning them into stop action animations. They will creatively collaborate on their topic by storyboarding, designing backgrounds, creating props, enhancing with text or voiceover and editing their shots. The iPad includes all that is needed. Please support this exciting project and you may inspire a future movie maker.
