Working with students in the math department to drive them to become successful in the 21st century skill development, quality calculators for students to use to problem solve becomes a challenge. This fundraiser would help toward the purchase of a set of calculators to be used with students to assist in problem solving both in the classroom and in UIL competitions. Students at this school cannot afford to purchase their own high-end calculators so this funding would help to support the classroom by providing it for the students.
