We are trying to fund ANY technology in our classroom! Since our school opened 7 years ago, there have been many needs ahead of technology. We are gradually getting more technology in our school. It is very hard to make sure the first grade students get a chance to use technology to learn when they take a little longer to become familiar. All of the students do not have access to technology at home. I try to ensure at least 2-3 times each week my students use the laptop cart, our 6 kindles I bought with my own money, and now our class Ipad (a parent gifted us)!!! I am super excited about the new addition since I am unfamiliar with the Apple apps. We love using technology; however because of the cost we use what I can afford!
