My special education students are writing and having published two books this year through studentreasures.com.

For the 2013-14 school year my students wrote and published one book. Since I was out of school with back surgery we were unable to get the second book written in time to publish. This 2014-2015 school year our goal is to publish two again.

The first year they published two books, one on Weather and one on recycling program- The WAR (We Always Recycle) books.

This year with funding cut we need to get funds from other sources. Each book costs $20.00 a piece. I will have between 12-14 students. I would like to be able to get at least 15 books to have one for our school media center.

So the cost would be for both books about $600.00. We are having to turn in the first book by December 6, 2014 and the second by April 12, 2015, for publishing the first December 28th and the Second publishing on April 22, 2015
