Recently, our Kindergarten teachers received one iPad from the district to be shared among five classrooms. The tablet is meant to be used in the classroom for whole class learning when projected onto a screen of interactive smartboard. The team is the only grade in the school to not have an LCD projector available to them, making it impossible to use the device in this way. Our school is an inner city school with more than 700 students. We are sorely lacking in budget and will be unable to purchase this tool for our Kindergarten.
They are hoping to raise funds to purchase an LCD projector so they can utilize this technology and make it easier to differentiate instruction and better meet the needs of their students.
