I am a speech-language pathologist working in a rural setting at an elementary school, junior high school, and high school. I work with students that range in age from 5-20. I am applying for this grant in the hopes that receiving a new iPad will help me to better serve my student population and meet their unique individual needs. Faced with the reality of the seemingly annual school budget cuts and deficits, neither my students nor I can afford the technology that they would benefit from in order to help further not only their education, but also their ability to be the best productive members of society that they can be.
