My Math Dictionary

Each student will have the opportunity to create a personalized math dictionary based on the vocabulary in the series our district uses. It will be a team project. Each team, will have to create a page per vocabulary word. This will be an ongoing project. The students will first need to find out what the word means. They will then have to take a digital picture showing the vocabulary word. They will then have to upload the picture to the computer and create a dictionary page. Since we have a large ELL population, this will be a great way for ALL students to learn the vocabulary. The students will need to print out (at least) two copies of this dictionary. One will go home for the parents so that they can assist the student with his/her learning.
