TELEVISION SHOW OBJECTIVE

Students will use interview techniques to create an expository story on video: focus on listening, speaking, and writing (main idea, facts, details, reason) to be presented on the school's overhead television system and sent to the local newspaper for downloading to the general public to view.
Comments
CMS is trying to create a journalism program for students to learn and apply language arts skills (reading, writing, vocal presentations).
Cross-Curriculum Ideas
We can use the equipment to video tape students reading and examine how and where they can do better vocally and in their interpretation of readings.

Live interviews to be shown throughout the school's television system.
