Using concepts from Math lessons, students will plan photos to illustrate concepts of halves, thirds, quarters, sixths and eighths as well as mixed numbers. Shirt color (pink, white, purple, navy are the only dress code choices), or shirt style (polo or school t-shirt; short-sleeve, long-sleeve) will dictate fraction photos. Shorts (half pants) v. pants will demonstrate mixed numbers.
Students will need to organized who wears what colors on what days, make adjustments when necessary and keep track of what examples have already been photographed.
Completed photographs will be captioned and added to a class book in paper and digital form.
Materials: Point and Shoot, Art Tools, Tripods, Batteries, Power, Keyboards, Ports and Hubs, LCD Monitors, Flash/USB Drives, Elementary, Early Learning
