Using such social skills training software as Model Me Kids and various applications for the iPad and the iPod Touch, students will participate using an iPad2 and iPod Touch, either in a 1:1 setting or small group. Students will drag,drop, and select the various choices through the tablets interface, while interacting directly with the device(s) and the instructors' lessons. For a full, rich, visual presentation of all software instruction, the devices will be connected to a LCD projector and projected to a large screen. (Note: due to the lack of resolution using the LCD projector, a flat screen LCD television is ideal for such presentations).

The Lesson(s) will include the following areas of learning:
1. Recognizing Emotions
2. ASL sign language
3. Picture Exchange Communication sentencing sequence
4. Wh questions
5. Conversation Starters
6. Matching
6. Categorizing
7. Problem solving (using Dr. Tony Atwood's CAT kit)
8. Behavior modification monitoring

Student led projects:
1. Photo journalism (school journal publication)
2. Creative writing (school journal publication)
3. T-shirt design (Annual community autism fundraiser)
4. music projects
5. Christmas crafting for annual community christmas craft fair
6. Earth Day Celebration movie making-Environmental Awareness
