Provide students with new spelling list.
Teacher/assistant will go over each word - read/voice, fingerspell, write, etc.
Students will make either a mini spelling book or index cards.
Each student will be given pictures tht represent the words - there will not be just one picture for every word. There may be multiple picuteres for the multiple meanings (multiple signs if sign language is used).

Example:

'bat' picture of a baseball bay & picture of a mammal

Each picture will have a simple sentence containing the spelling word - important for multiple signs/multiple meanings.

Kids can keep books/index cards in a spelling box for future reference.
